Just off Berrow Road today, removal of some Bamboo that was coming from under the neighbours fence, and clearing of some weeds, Although the area where the bamboo was showing was relatively small, the Bamboo had started to take hold and was begining to spread into the customers garden. had to get to the roots. You can see from a couple of these images just how much Bamboo can spread it's roots underground and unnoticed. You can't just cut back the stems, you need to dig down and get rid of the roots or it will just keep creeping, if even an inch or two of root is left in the ground, it will spread again very quickly. Typicaly, you should dig out all the roots you can, then check the area again after a couple of weeks to see if any new shoots have appeared, this will allow you to identify if any root section is still left
in the ground.
If you have problem bamboo in your garden that you can't control, give me a call on 07936 609099 for a chat and free estimate for it's removal.
Also a couple of small lawns got their first 'haircut' of the year, making the garden look much more attractive and ready for the summer.
